Networking

The success of the Garden Club comes from our numerous opportunities for education, communication, and entertainment, namely: meetings and planned events such as trips, Sip and Stroll, and workshops.

The time spent in our gardens together encourages storytelling based on successes and failures retold with gardening insights and lessons learned.

Art in Bloom hosted at the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, is a special time in our Club year allowing us the opportunity to interact with members of the community.  Our skills at gardening are witnessed in the abundance of butterflies by visitors entering the Museum through the butterfly garden. A different audience is attracted to Art in Bloom, one that is there to enjoy our floral arranging skills used to interpret students’ artwork. All are brought together in admiration of flowers.

Sharing acquired information, supporting, and connecting with fellow gardeners, and enjoying and exchanging creative talents opens the doors for “many things” that you could not do on your own!
