Recognizes membership or committee achievement following the goals and objectives of the FFGC Awards.

Plant Sales

Organizes ceremony held at Blue Star Marker on Veterans’ Day. These markers across the highways of the U.S. pay tribute to those who served in the armed forces.

Fashion Show

Tours member gardens requesting certification and awards certification when indicated by state chairman. Provides education on butterfly plants at monthly meetings.

The Boynton Beach Garden Club supports the following gardens.

  • BUTTERFLY GARDEN Maintains the garden located by the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, Ocean Ave., in Boynton Beach.

  • COMMUNITY GARDEN Maintains the garden on N. Seacrest and NW 5 Ave., in Boynton Beach.

Finance

Plans and organizes fundraising project(s) to support our club’s donations to the community and scholarship to Wekiva.

HORTICULTURE

Provides a brief educational presentation at each monthly meeting.

HOSPITALITY

Coordinates refreshments for meetings and events.

NEWSLETTER

Prepares monthly newsletter September to May with information related to the garden club.

PENNY PINES

Collects donations for the replanting replacement of trees indigenous to a particular damaged area. Donations are in increments of $68. The jar for donations is passed at monthly meetings.

RAFFLES

Organizes monthly meeting fundraiser raffle, generally plants.

Coordinates bus trips, carpools for club.
