Boynton Beach Garden Club

2020 was a huge success. A total of 87 members and visitors voted for the arrangement that they liked best, the People’s Choice, which for 2020 resulted in a tied vote. Our 14 designed submissions created, as stated by Suzanne Ross of the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, “the best floral show to date”.  The floral arrangements were judged by retired art teachers and the Cultural Center Manager for the City of Boynton Beach Parks and Recreation Department.  They took almost 45 minutes to deliberate and decide.  The choices were hard because they could select only one arrangement for each of the three categories. The maker of the design received the “People’s Choice Award” at the conclusion of the show on Saturday. Awards were given to participants whose design showed the “Best Use of Color”, “Best Use of Texture” and “Best Interpretation of the Art”.
